Custom Kitchen Renovations Across Sydney
A well-planned kitchen makes everyday cooking, cleaning and storage easier. We design and renovate kitchens across Sydney, taking care of everything from the first site visit and layout planning to cabinetry, benchtops and installation.
You’ll deal with one main point of contact throughout, and we coordinate all the trades involved in your renovation, including plumbers, electricians, tilers and joiners.
Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms is based in Lane Cove and has more than 15 years of experience renovating kitchens in Sydney houses and apartments.

What’s Included in a Kitchen Renovation
Every kitchen is different, but a full renovation usually includes:
- Layout planning, 3D concepts and 2D drawings
- Removal of the old kitchen and preparation of the space
- Plumbing and electrical work
- Custom cabinetry and joinery, made to measure
- Stone benchtops and splashbacks
- Tiling and flooring where needed
- Installation, final fit-off and handover

See Your Kitchen Before It’s Built
After you sign the contract, you’ll work with our in-house designer, who can offer guidance as you finalise your layout and selections. Once your choices are final, we prepare photorealistic 3D concepts and 2D elevations, plus detailed CAD plans where production needs them. You review and approve the drawings before anything is made.
Choosing Your Products
You choose your own sink, tapware, appliances and finishes. You can source them yourself or select many of them through our preferred suppliers, such as Reece and Beaumont Tiles, where we can often access trade pricing. Products from our suppliers are usually easier to coordinate, which helps avoid delays on site.
Cabinetry, Benchtops and Finishes
Your cabinetry is made to measure and designed around the appliances you’ve chosen. Choose from a range of door finishes, benchtop materials and hardware to suit the look you want.

Small Kitchen Renovations
A small kitchen needs careful planning. The right layout, clever storage and well-chosen finishes can make a compact space feel larger and work better day to day.

Kitchens for Houses and Apartments
We renovate family kitchens in houses and compact kitchens in apartments.
For apartments, we help with strata requirements, paperwork and approvals, and plan the work around the building’s rules. Every building has its own requirements, so approval needs to be in place before work starts.

View styleOur Kitchen Renovation Process
Most kitchen renovations follow these six steps.
Consultation
We visit your home to see your current kitchen and talk about how you use it, what you’d like to change and your budget.
Proposal
About a week after the visit, we email you a detailed proposal setting out the scope of work, pricing and inclusions.
Design and selections
Once the contract is signed, you finalise your layout and selections with guidance from our designer, then review and approve the 3D concepts and drawings.
Check measures and ordering
We carry out multiple check measures on site before your cabinetry, benchtops and splashbacks are made.
Construction
We remove the old kitchen and coordinate the plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, benchtops, tiling and fit-off, with updates at key milestones.
Handover
We walk through the finished kitchen with you, fix any outstanding items and hand over your warranty and product information.
What Affects the Cost of a Kitchen Renovation
Our projects generally start from
$21,000
The final price depends on:
- The size and layout of the kitchen
- Moving plumbing or electrical points
- Cabinetry finishes, storage and hardware
- Benchtop and splashback materials
- The appliances, sink and tapware you choose
- Site access and any building or strata requirements
Your proposal lists everything that’s included, so you know what you’re paying for before you decide.
How Long a Kitchen Renovation Takes
Typical time on site
4 to 8 weeks
Time on site depends on the size of the kitchen, any layout changes and lead times for cabinetry and benchtops. Because custom items are measured and ordered before work begins, there’s less waiting once the old kitchen comes out.

Yes. Try to choose them early, because we design the cabinetry around your appliances and need their sizes before anything goes into production.
Often, yes. Moving the sink, cooktop or island is common in a kitchen renovation. We’ll check what’s possible at the site visit, including any plumbing or electrical changes, and you’ll approve the new layout in 3D before anything is built.
Not once the old kitchen has been removed. Many households set up a temporary area with a fridge, kettle and microwave. We’ll confirm the timing during planning so you can get organised.
No. We focus on complete kitchen renovations. A full renovation lets us improve the layout, function and finish of the whole space, and manage everything from design through to handover.
Yes. Many of our clients travel or work interstate or overseas. We manage the site and trades, and send regular updates so you always know where things stand.
Many kitchen renovations inside an existing home don’t need council approval, but some work does, such as structural changes or work on a heritage-listed property. We’ll talk through what applies at the consultation.
